RedBridge AB (“RedBridge”), an open source company operating in the areas of container technology, modern application development and IT operations with associated services, has entered into an agreement to acquire Opsdis Consulting AB (“Opsdis”). Opsdis operates in the area of observability – monitoring, logs, metrics, and traces and has strong roots in open source technology.
Through the acquisition, RedBridge strengthens its service portfolio and increases its presence in the rapidly growing market for observability. Opsdis, with its unique position as a tool-independent player in observability, has in a short time built a large customer base to which it delivers specialist expertise through consulting, strategy and advice. Opsdis provides cutting-edge expertise in an area where there is currently a significantly greater demand than available competency resources. The acquisition creates a strong opportunity for growth and paves the way for faster development with the potential to deliver both breadth and expertise within container technology and observability.
RedBridge CEO Stefan Andersson comments on the acquisition:
“Opsdis is a company we have worked with for a long period due to RedBridge operating in an adjoining area. I discovered early in our relationship that both companies share values, for example with our common background in open source. Our merger will be a natural continuation of good cooperation and our businesses will be woven together in a good way.”
Opsdis CEO and founder Johannes Dagemark continues:
“A merger with an established player like RedBridge gives us opportunities to expand our offer to meet customers’ increased demand. It also gives us the technological breadth to deliver larger complete solutions. An increased bandwidth and RedBridges fantastic team creates the opportunity to meet the market’s great demand for specialist competence in observability.”
